The Toshali National Crafts Mela 2024 was a 12-day national handloom and handicrafts showcase held at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, organised by the Department of Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, Government of Odisha. Featuring over 600 stalls, GI-tagged crafts, live demonstrations, cultural performances, and a vibrant food court, the mela celebrated India’s rich artisanal heritage and generated significant national engagement.
For Toshali National Crafts Mela 2024, aml Communications delivered a high-impact communication campaign showcasing Odisha’s rich handloom and handicraft legacy. Entrusted by the I&PR Department, Government of Odisha, we managed end-to-end AV documentation, social media outreach, media relations, and digital storytelling. Over 25 short videos, reels, photographs, and press releases captured GI-tagged crafts, live weaving demonstrations, cultural showcases, and artisan stories from across India. The consistent digital presence and wide media coverage helped drive engagement, strengthen public awareness, and elevate Toshali Mela as a national destination for handloom, handicrafts, and cultural exchange.
